Le foglie, portate da picciolo rosso, sono trilobate con il lobo centrale molto prominente rispetto ai laterali. Sono di color verde brillante che in autunno sfumano ad un spettacolare colore rosso intenso. Le samare, riunite in grappoli penduli, sono di colore rosso e presentano ali quasi parallele fra loro.
